The mineral-insulated heating cables of ISOHEAT are used to transmit high heat power. The particularly robust and heat-resistant connection of the heating and cold end is made by means of a high-quality laser-welded socket.
The ready-made heating conductors are supplied in different resistance values, lengths and diameters, depending on the requirements.
Due to the waterproof outer sheath made of stainless steel, the MI heating cables are also suitable for use in harsh environments. Depending on the medium, the corrosion resistance is achieved with stainless steel or other materials (Inconel, Alloy) of the outer jacket.
The entire MI heating conductor of ISOHEAT for hazardous areas is certified as component (U) according to ATEX and IECEx for use in Zone 1/21 and Zone 2/22. The terminations of the cold end are tested for installation into an Ex e or Ex t junction box.
To limit the maximum surface temperature, a higher-level system certificate (X) is required. ISOHEAT has the appropriate certifications and solutions.
